2.10.12 Amir Amadi just released 3 NEW Strange Creatures Designs - Bad Vibes, Twist, and Severed. We dig that all Strange Creatures t-shirts are designed and actually hand printed by Amir himself, shirts that are made by skaters for skaters. Also stay tuned to the upcoming Strange Creature Video release "Voodoo Show" - the crew has been filming all year for. 2.4.12 Demetrios George, Paul John, Mark Wojda, Jeff Stockwell, Richie Eisler and photographer/filmer Adam Kola have been on a mission this week in Arizona to shoot as much promotion as possible for The Conference (USD, Xsjado, UC, Kizer). Things have been going great for the crew, they've been very productive, and at the end of the day everyone is all smiles - happy with what Arizona has to offer. 1.29.12 KC Roche was part of the generation to shape our scene in Arizona. Moving here from Florida back in the day, he now resides in Kansas City. Blading with the likes of SK, and Broskow. KC is easily recognizable by his classic look, and his hairdo. But what we like best is he's not afraid to give it to you straight. Either he likes what you're doing or it makes him "salty." KC is awesome, he's got his style down to a t, and he rips hard. Check out his TOP 5 Profile. This is a first in our industry, RENEGADE Bearings and FESTER Wheels created a special collaboration pro bearing for Revolution Team Rider Damien Wilson. Damien's pro bearing features a friction-less gold steel shield for increased durability, Pre-lubricated to last longer and ride smoother, and is an unrated bearing. Pick up Damien Wilson's pro bearing here. 1.24.12 Chris Farmer is one of the most influential skaters in our industry. Chris is one of our favorite people in general, he's always respectful, and always genuine. Aside from his skating, we're happy to give you a glimpse into who Farmer really is. He talks about what he does off the blades, trick selection, what influences his skating, and more. Check out his On The Spot profile - filmed/edited by Jon Jenkins. 1.17.12 Revolution Raw Clips showcases blading for what it is. No Music, no effects, just the real sounds of a session to get you hyped. We are excited to launch this new video project, we are always looking for new ways to portray rollerblading the best way we can. Raw clips is just pure raw skating. Our premiere Raw Clips Edit features our good friend Cameron Talbott from Missoula, MT. 1.16.12 This past August - we traveled out to NYC for Billy O'Neill's NYC Invitational Street Event. Team Rider Jeremy Spira met us out there for a weekend of skating. We were able to explore NYC to the fullest over the weekend. Hitting up spots, and www.skatelife.tv's Shawn Engler was there to capture the madness. Check out the article "2 Cents" written by Spira and a sick sequence of Spira in Brooklyn. 1.5.12 Mathieu Ledoux flew out to Arizona last month to film an edit for The Conference promoting the USD CARBONS and POWERBLADE frames. Check out what Mathieu had to say about his setup. Ledoux is one of our best friends, a true professional, we were happy to be involved in making his edit possible. Check out Ledoux's Edit posted in the REV BLOG. Filmed by Jon Jenkins, Kyle Smith, and James Johnson - edited by Jon Jenkins. Yeah Mat!!!! 1.2.12 The Inline program will still exist at Woodward, but, we want to acknowledge the positive impact Richie has left on rollerblading. Richie is moving onto a new chapter in his life, and is sadly leaving his position at Woodward West. Richie will always be a skater at heart. Richie has given 10 amazing years dedicated to helping kids learn how to Rollerblade. Revolution graciously says THANK YOU to Richie for being an influence on our sport! 1.1.12 We are excited to launch our new Revolution Team Profiles, featuring new interviews, photos, videos, and skate gear. We wish them the best for the rest of their tour! Revolution is the presenting sponsor for the Pariah Tour AZ Update. Featuring AJ, Alex Broskow, B-Free, Victor Arias, Adam Exline, and Don Bambrick. You can come session with the crew at this week's Revolution Thursday Night Skate Session!! Shawn Engler is outspoken, and wears his passion on his sleeve. It's a rare thing in our industry to speak your mind, Shawn says what needs to be said. You can follow updates from their Southwest Tour on the Strange Creatures Tumblr. The photos were shot by Jon Jenkins featuring Dominic in his home park "T-Bird" he skates during the week. Check out the full article posted here on Skatelife.tv 10.7.11 Keaton is a really stylish skater, we had an amazing experience filming Keaton's 90 here in AZ. He has a contagious positive outlook, it's impossible to have a bad time around him. Umberto was motivated to skate as much as possible here in Arizona. We were able to stack footage of Berto for our next Revolution web series video project coming soon. Stay tuned.... For now, check out Umberto's TOP 5 Profile here. Photos by Ryan Daily and Awall. 9.27.11 Our recent trip to NYC, we were able to hang out with Josh Diaz - owner of Psyko Clothing. The small things matter, driving 30 minutes to grab skaters in the city for a demo, tour guide skate spots, a simple phone call at the end of the day to see how everything went, and most importantly strapping on the blades yourself to bleed at the session. Josh left a lasting impression on us. Psyko is more than just t's. It's a part of him, and it's also a part of you. Made for skaters. 9.26.11 Keaton has been stacking footage all week for his 90 Seconds. We set up, and plan out spots for each skater's 90, and usually save all the hammer spots for the final days of filming. Keaton signed up for some insane tricks he was saving for last. Yesterday was Keaton's "hammer day"...... At the end of the day, we were all left in awe, he killed it! It has been an amazing week skating with him! Keaton leaves tomorrow back to Texas. Stay tuned. 9.19.11 For the past few years, we've seen Keaton come up, and develop into a really stylish skater. When we approached Keaton to film a 90, he was more than down, and already on the same page. Keaton shares our same vision for how we portray blading with our 90's. Keaton has been in AZ for 2 days now, and has already stacked some amazing footage so far. Follow Keaton's 90 Second filming process on the Revolution Facebook! 9.8.11 We are "on the go" non-stop, our lives are filled with blading. When Revolution first moved to AZ, Chad was the little kid at the shop, always out skating w/ his crew. Even then we saw potential in him. We're excited to see how far he's come, and develop into the skater he is today. He balances skating with work, and handles his responsibilities. He also skates for SHIMA.
