Filming for the 90 seconds was cool. I had alot of fun living in Arizona and the kids are badass .... with all that going on it was easy.

What kinds of spots do you prefer to skate?

I like spots that have a certain difficulty to it, different from your standard down rail or flat ledge.

The whole thing is kind of a blur. I know of some stuff I did and I'm stoked but every spot in Arizona is amazing.

Since you've become the "ONE Skater of the Year," have you felt any added pressure?

Yeah, a whole bunch of pressure it's not like winning a comp where you deserve it most the time. I'm almost mad I won because now I have to be more cautious with what i do. I can't just be an ass all the time whether I like to or not. I don't know. I'm juiced, just don't expect too much. I'm just doing my thing, having fun with my friends.


What does having a 90 Second Edit mean to you?

It means I am part of a badass scene that picks dope skaters to do there thing, it's tight.

Just before you left Arizona to head on the Straight Jacket Tour, you told me you felt "tired." You've accomplished a ton this year, toured all over the world, and have been going non-stop. What is next for you? Time off for yourself, or keeping killing sh#t?

Since I've left for tour I've been getting little injuries that just piss me off, like little sh%t falling on toe rolls and stupid little fun stuff. So I guess I'm still tired but f#ck it, it's what I asked for and I'm doing it so I'm gonna keep going. Next is NIMH week at Woodward I think, but whatever is going on I probably won't slow down...unless I eat sh#t really bad.
