Revolution 90 Seconds - Casey McFarland
It was good. I tried to skate whenever I had time off. It isn't the greatest having to work so much and then skate but, it could have been worse.
I do have about 25 different lists of skate spots around Phoenix I made while I was bored in school or whenever. I like skating spots you have to think about and use your imagination. Usually, it's something that isn't a "session spot" - or a good spot to skate on the regular.
Which trick or situation was most memorable for you while filming for your 90 Second Edit? That's pretty easy. It was the last day we had to film, the day before I left on my trip. It was my birthday, and I went back to retry one of the biggest tricks I've attempted (final ditch gap of his 90). I landed it first try and the rest of the day went pretty well too.
I work for the Chicago Cubs Baseball team at their minor league training facilities in Mesa. I do a lot of stuff in the clubhouse and on the fields for the team. Getting out and putting away baseball equipment, doing laundry, and straightening up the clubhouse is what I spent most of the day doing.
Well, that's tough to answer. My skating is influenced directly from watching people street skate in all those old videos and DB's. Like DL, Shima, Spizer, and many others. And that, for me, translated into finding places where I can skate the way I want to. Another influence is skating fast, that is something everyone should learn how to do. It's better for you, falls are for the most part easier on the body, and it makes your skating look better.
It's a tough hobby. I'm happy to get some exposure and these are some high quality pieces you and Jenkins put out. It's the next best thing to having a section in a real video.
